Whisky review : Michel Couvreur ''The Unique'' 4 years old bottled @ 44%
-JW bottling...not original.
-Bottled over 44%
-Why wax the tip ? c'mon....
-made from corn and wheat, finish in bourbon barrel
Colour: dark golden, medium bodied
Nose: caramel, rough, spirity....nothing worth remembering.
Mouth: thick caramel, touches of iodine, sweet notes...and flat. ..........
Finish: light wood, caramel dust, but still flat.
E for taste. Flat....and flat.
D for the price. 53$ (SAQ) is way to much for this closer-to-a-cheap-blend single malt.
E for presentation. Why copy an existing bottling ?
