Colour: pale yellow-gold

Nose : juicy-sweet, smoke, more smoke, brine, hint of peat, fresh kind of candy smell

Mouth: initial contact, rockets candy ! smoky, peat, medicinal brine, more peat smoke, but still not too heavy, juicy sweet fresh, very interesting combination of smoke and candy. touches of tar here and there.

Finish: smoke, sweet, shy peat. very well balanced.

A+ for taste, excellent whisky, a true Islay hero
A+ for price, perfect on price point (68$ for this, anytime !)
A for presentation....we could except a slight innovation for the quarter cask..but none...
