Whisky review: Isle of Jura Duriach's Own 16 years old, bottled@ 43%
-Another Jura !
Colour: dark gold, hints of red notes, light bodied.
Nose: salted fruits, caramel, very fresh, very clean, hints of chocolate, very well made.
Mouth: light mineral notes, hints of smoke here and there, bit of spices, yet nothing comes out....misleading nose indeed.
Finish: light caramel, sweets, spices.
C- for the price. 90$ (SAQ) ? yeah, no. I'll take the Prophecy instead.
A Nice bottling as usual.
B- Taste wise, not very interesting, no wow. Just plain Jura.
