Whisky Review: Gordon & MacPhail Connoisseurs Choice Jurra 1997-2013, bottled @ 46%
-1st Jura from CC
-Higher ABV
-Nice 16 years old Jura.
Colour: very pale and thin, light bodied.
Nose: broken candies, floral notes, light sweet caramel notes, delicate.
Mouth: light spices, cookie powder, touches of light smoke, old wood, bitter notes, light yellow fruits.
Finish: lingering spices and caramel, bitter notes.
B- for the price. 107.75 (SAQ) seems a bit high when comparing to the Prophecy (83$)...
B for the taste. Nice nose and delicate taste, yet no ''wow'' factor whatsoever.
B for the presentation. CC label are boring.
