Whisky review : Talisker 57o North, 750ml, Bottled @ 57% Cask strength

Colour: a bit darker than the 10y, ambery-yellow colour.

Nose : Huge whisky. Spirit notes, spices, touches of hidden peat, strong spirit !

Mouth : forestfire arrival, sweet, spices - chili burn, peppers -, figs, raisins, caramel, spicy-fading peat....so many things. Even when adding water, it's hard to get them all.

Finish: slow spicy-sweet waves.

A- for taste
B- for the price (probably around 120$ here...if we could have some)
A for presentation, very elegant box.
